Turkey Night

That night we stuffed our faces again at Rosemary's. My favorite the pumpkin pie and shoepeg corn was delicious. Noah got a little fussy so we stripped him down and once he was naked he was happy again. It is amazing what little things soothe him

We traveled to Meridian for lunch and got to visit with new family that Noah had not met yet. It turned out to be a beautiful day and there was lots of good food.

After the Storm

It stormed and we were able to see what the waves could really do. It was low tide but you could see the might of the wind. It really made for a beautiful sunset.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

November 20, 2009

We took the boys to the AQUARIUM. It was I think more fun for Drew and I. Noah fell asleep in his carrier for most of the time. Frankie had fun though and I certainly enjoyed all the things to see. Especially the jellyfish and the seahorses'.

Downtown Monterey

We explored all there was to see in Monterey. Well all you can do with kids. It was fun to get to know another city. It was a little chilly so the boys were bundled as we had Breakfast at LouLou's and viewed the bay. Later we walked around and visited the shops. There was the cutest hat shop, it had knitted girls hats that looked like strawberries, blueberries, any kind of berry really. Drew did not go for the little boy hats with initials on them. Plus Noah really has not been fond of hats so I just looked and doted from a distance.

Squirrels and Elephant Seals

We started off on our road trip to Monterey, CA. We stopped along the drive up Hwy 1 to see the seals but were thrilled to also see that the ground squirrels would come and eat right out of your hand. It was fun to see Noah's reaction to the skampering little things. He probably thought they were dogs. That is what he was use to seeing. We learned that when baby seals are born they are 85lbs. Within the first month they grow to 300lbs. Then through out their life time they can reach 5000lbs. At least the males. And only 1% of males get the chance to have offspring.

Day in the Park

We played in the park one day and Noah LOVED it. We did not realize that he would like it so much here are some of the pictures. He loved swinging.
