We started the morning with Coffee and Shipley's donuts and time with our Lord. It was glorious uninterrupted time in the Word. I soaked it in knowing I don't get this very much.
I am in reading in Leviticus right now and (even though I never anticipated to glean lots from the Lord in this book) He is showing me more and more of His purpose for His own, our need for Him, and through all the "laws" and instructions He gave the Israelites they increasingly and repeatedly disobeyed Him. They who had the presence of the Lord walking so close with them, asking specific obedience from them, they forgot, still turned to idols perversion, and it became evident to them that they need sacrifice (a way to come to God in all their un-cleaness).
This is so neat to see the constant for-shadowing of the need for a savior, the playing out of what is requirements of a satisfactory sacrifice (unblemished.....blood being spilled, atonement for our sins)

Later in the morning I got ready for my Mani Pedi appointment. I was so excited. The last Pedicure I had was in Kenya.

I was expecting a quite morning reading, while soaking my feet and getting my toes painted.
God had other plans. The girl who was giving me the pedicure and I really hit if off. She was a little older than me, had a 2 year old little boy, and was asking lots of questions I had asked. I mean really what was I thinking......how can you not talk to the person touching your feet. She was not married, and really frustrated with her son's father. I was able to share my testimony, and share that Christ has such a perfect plan for marriage and the covenant that it represents. Christs' pursuance of us is the greatest love story. I left with perfectly painted nails and toes, and the knowledge that my God is a God of taken opportunities and I just need to expect that He will give me time and opportunities to speak. For His Glory not my story.

I was so excited to meet back up with Drew and tell him all about my morning. We went to eat at a great little place on the square Ajax. I had wonderful veggies (fried, I know) but veggies all the same.
Had great conversation, I can not tell you how uninterrupted time with your husband can be so wonderful for your communication, for getting on the same page, and for the idea of still "learning him."

We headed to a movie, and later went out to eat again. YES I was exhausted with eating by time we left. But you order and they bring you this great looking entree and you think "I don't want to waste this wonderful, expensive food." SO you eat it.

Lenora's was such a fun place. Laid back, and more good time with Drew.
