Belgrade Forest

June 18 2013

We went with some friends and their local friends to the Belgrade Forest.  This is not something that we would find on our own.  And we had a blast.
We walked some of this path.  The boys tuckered out and we turned around and headed back.

It's in God's creation that you can almost forget exactly where you are and just know that HE is Creator, and that we can enjoy his creation.

Sadly this was not far into the walk.  Poor Daddy got the brunt of carrying the load.
Then we found fun things to do along the way.
Noah has Momma's arm strength. Non existent.
Still walking.
balance beam, like Momma again.  This is my forte.
I just love our little family.  Makes me so happy that I am this blessed.

Found a Massey Ferguson, and for a second I felt like I was in Chunky MS again.
Then we stopped by the play ground before heading home.
Daddy and his boys.

The guys.

My muchkins

This little one likes to steal his brother's birthday car.
And he his been know to break out in song, in his diaper in the middle of the living room.
Noah is soaking up "school time", I was seriously talking to Drew about holding him back starting K but he is so ready and eager to do the school thing.
Luke had to have this clothes pin in his curly top.
Sibling rivalry is in full swing around here, they just know what to do to push each other's buttons..........This is king of the "Pouff" mountain.
I have been talking to the boys about the baby that is growing in my belly,  I sometimes forget that I am pregnant, but then the nausea comes back.

They however love the idea of the baby being in their bellies, while I try to explain that only Momma's can have babies and not little boys.
I thought this was so sweet.  I secretly want a cat, (ever since Drew and I have been married), and well he is not a fan.  Most of the cats here are nasty, sick, and live on garbage.  This one obviously lives off fish, because he was quite at home at the fish market behind Noah.  He wanted to be petted so badly and was rubbing all on Noah's legs.

And Noah loved it too.

Our 8th Anniversary

June 11 2013

Can you believe that in 2005 I married this guys.  He has exceeded my expectations, 1st because he loves the Lord, and 2nd because he loves me (in all my mess).

I am so blessed to be his wife.

We had a sweet friend watch our youngins, and we headed down the hill to eat by the water.  A new place, Camilla, just opened up and they have FAJITAS.  Yes, you read that right.
Drew loved them,  And they only thing that could have been better was the sour cream (but I am a bit of a sour cream snob), the water was beautiful, the food was great, and my love was sitting gazing at me.
And there was this cute little tug boat too.

Birthday mail

Luke's birthday book from Grana and Babu came.  He was so excited to open a package all by himself.  Knowing it was for him.
Checking it out. I can not believe this little guy will be 2 in 2 weeks.

Learning his colors already.
And he loved his elmo card.
Grana you did good,  thanks for sending the book.

Girl time and ice cream

Two of my favorite things.  All in one sitting.  I loved sharing conversation with these ladies, especially after being cooped up with the boys lately.
And this was the extra, finding good ice cream here.

Kilyos Beach

June 8 2013

Saturday morning we headed to the beach.  No it's not Destin but it's  20 minutes from our house.  And well the boys had a blast.
Checking out the water.
This was Luke's first reaction to the sand on is knees.
This is the texture.  I found a lot of pretty shells.
Throwing shells back in the waves.
Our one family pic before the boys were filthy, but they had just dove in the cold water, and had to loose their shirts.
Then he decided to just go all in.
Luke took the sand.

Luke and Hudson playing with the buckets.

Noah got a little too zealous.
This was the result.
We stopped for lunch, and sat in the sun, it was marvelous.
I was so afraid this was the lifeguard post.  Here in the shallow water.
A quick PB&J and then back to playing.

Not sure what happened here.

This was the turkish way not to drown.

The brave ones headed out to deeper water.

Over all it was a great day.
