Playtime

We got to go play with Miss Katelyn while her Daddy and Momma went on a date and Anna loved it.  Well except the hair pulling incident.  She wasn't thrilled about that but she is so ready for Katelyn to start playing with her and I can only imagine how they will run around and do girl things before long.

Baby girl had her first real injury.  A screw on the laundry rack was the culprit.
Here is a little imagination of a TCK.  Playing plane trip to MS and back again.
They had the whole role down pat.  Going through customs, how to not talk while Daddy talked to Passport control, and how to put their carry on under the seat and put their earphones in.

This GIRL

Some days, we think that this girl has always been here, what was life like without her, and some days we think she will be the end of us.

She is spunky, and lately into everything.  I love that she has a little mind of her own and doesn't take any junk from her brothers.

Her look at me face.

Bubble beard,  her favorite bath tub pastime.

And she has her Daddy wrapped completely up.  And I love it.

Bedtime Routine

When Drew is out at night I always end up getting the kids ready for bed a little too early.  And well then we just sit and play on the floor until the time ticks by.

But these are some of my best memories of them playing together and learning what it is to have siblings.  To share. To think of others first.  To give your "brother" the best. (its our little coined phrase to teach them to value and protect each other keeping the interest of others a priority)----And well it isn't always so well received.  But some days I don't even have to remind them.

Tonight was one of those nights.

Here's just a pic of my Luker man, after he wakes up.  He needs a little alone (don't bother me time/ or talk to me/ or look at me time) to get going.

Ali doruk

A month ago I got to help welcome a sweet little boy into the world.  We are so proud of our friend Ceyda.  She and Omer are such devoted parents.  I loved holding a little one again.

Here is just a few days ago.  He is such a different baby already.

Winter break park finds

We drove to a nearby (and by nearby I mean we thought it was closer) park.  We pass this park on the way to a neighboring city and always want to stop, so we have said we will go back and let the kids play when...... and well when never seems to happen.  So we made a morning out of it and the kids had a blast.

Pirate ship playground, and we learned about a new town.
And their was actually green space to play.

They had a huge area for rock walling.
We spent most of our time there.
My goofy boy.

And then we threw rocks in the sea.

My little prince.

He's really growing up too fast.  He has such a thankful little heart.  And sometimes is obedient.  He really knows the difference between right and wrong, but just needs some direction sometimes.  I love learning my children, how they need to be loved, disciplined, encouraged, and spurred on.

Warm days in February

We needed a day outside of our apartment walls.  And the weather cooperated today.
So we stopped by the pastane and got some warm simit.
And headed to the park.

And the boys practiced their climbing skills.  We figured out that Noah is a little bit like is Momma, and likes to keep his feet on the ground more that less.

Anna trying out Mr. Camel.

But our Luke is a little risk taker, and not much scares him these days.
Noah loved the rock walls.

We walked along the sea side.

Love these little gentlemen and this little lady.
Anna had so much fun sliding for the 1st time.  Her brothers taught her the wrong way to go up the slide.  Climbing up the wrong way.  Maybe she will forget.
