Grady Returns

We were so excited to play with our pal Grady.  He came over for a morning playdate.  We haven't seen him since the summer.  

This is how the conversation went, "You know we are gonna have to smile so they will quit taking pictures, right.".............."Yea, my mom never stops, hurry up and lets get this over with."

"Well you have to remember to open your eyes too or we will be here all day."

North Carolina is too far away for these little buddies.  

Ash we had so much fun visiting and catching up with you and yours. 

Christmas Day

We woke at a leisurely pace, the boys actually slept and extra hour. 

I came down stairs and Drew was already helping fix breakfast. 

Coffee was brewed and ready to be poured.

I was definitely a Merry Morning. Celebrating our Saviors Birth. 

These faces were certainly a reason to be joyful. 

Luke didn't have a clue what to do with the scooter at first. 

Then he got some vision.

But Daddy had to put them together first.

Daddy ended up being the motor all morning.

But that was okay.

Noah was a pro.

Daddy got a nice big cooler (or soaking tub for Noah).

And a framed picture of he and David. Luke kept pointing saying "Dae Dae"

I was so sweet.  We sure did miss David this year.

Un-wrapping was so fun. 

Mid morning we braved the storm to head to Babu and Grana's house. 

Merry Christmas.

We had the best Christmas lunch. Complete with my favorite (lemon pie).

We unwrapped some presents.

And after playing with toys, and the boys enjoying a nap,

we headed out to see Les Miserables.  

Christmas Eve-ness

Here is the Snowden Family.  Love that we were all together this year and able to share Christmas Eve.

Baby Jesus needed a birthday cake from our Noah.  Daddy and Noah baked the cake.

Momma and Noah iced it.

Noah licked the spreader.

And Luke helped us add sprinkles.

Too involved in sprinkling to smile.

We even took our cake to the Party and sang Happy Birthday Jesus.
