Car Washing

Dad decided that the Pilot finally needed a good vacuuming.  Noah was excited because that meant he got to "DRIVE".  Luke was along for the ride.  

Saturday Afternoon washing the car.  All my boys were helping.

Luke thought it was fantastic to get sprayed with the hose. 

And look at this nastiness.  Yuck Yuck Yuck.  I can not stand when the boys get dirty.  I am working on it.  Well I am thinking about working on it.  

 When it was all over we got the water hose after him.

 Brother decided to help.

Morning Swim

 We headed to Pops and Gigi's for a morning swim that wore our boys out. 

Our confident Noah, that was fearless at the beach was also fearless in the pool.

 It didn't take Luke long to remember how much he loved the water.  

 We made Noah try this ring on, to let him have a bit more freedom. 

He cried when we first put it on him.  

 ( I generally do not like any type of floatation device, they just give a false sense of security while learning to swim.  I started to change my mind seeing how much he liked it, and he was able to go in the deep end and "swim" around by himself,  then he wanted it off and did not realize that he could not go in the deep water by himself,  WELL we will just say I will be forever be a lifeguard.  Had to pull the little guy up.)

 He was so tired after his swim.  I literally held him for 20 seconds and he was out. 

 Good thing Gigi has lots of pallets available.

Sandestin Vacation/ Day 4

Waiting till the last day we got up and decided we needed to get some family beach pictures.  I was a great idea, except the weather was starting to get windy and well a storm was approaching quickly.  

We did get some good ones despite the weather.  (My motto, just take a ton, and then edit to death, you are bound to get a couple good ones. So this is just some of the 350+ we took)

As you can see the weather was coming in fast.

 Noah looks like such a little man here to me. 

 And then I remember he is almost 3 when he flashes his cheeser  grin.  

 He was so excited about the waves.

 So this starts our family memory for this day.  We were standing there watching the waves.  

 When all of the sudden a wave caught us by surprise. 

 Luke was not happy that his little shorts were wet and cold.

 I mean he was really unhappy. But Daddy thought it was pretty funny.

 So after nap while we waited for Noah to wake up, we sat on the balcony with our little boy. 

 He was entertained for quite a while.

And this is what Daddy did, constantly reading,  I don't remember marrying a reader but I guess people change,  I love it.  

Later we headed to the playground,  And I was amazed how much Luke loved the swings.  

We LOVED that we found SNO CONES.   

 It was Noah's first and he was loving the straw, and the fact that we got Watermelon flavor.  

This was the best vacation I can remember having in a long time.
