My sweet little girl is growing in leaps and bounds. She now weighs 15 1/2 lbs. (10-25%) and is in 95% for her height. She has been quite sick this month. Para pertussis/ yep I had never heard of it before but it really caused her some trouble at night as she would wake up with coughing spasms and throw up. She is finishing her round of antibiotics. It is the same bacteria as whooping cough.........certainly nothing to mess around with and probably something the boys brought home from preschool as they have been sick too.
She wears from size 3 month to 9 months clothes depending on brand. She has mastered sitting up by herself and playing with toys (even though Momma doesn't want to admit it, I still put pillows behind her or sit with her). She loves her feet. She loves food (that your eating, that she is eating......) She has tried sweet potatoes this month (I finally found some in Istanbul).
She loves the bath and is learning to splash me and the floor and her brothers. She is becoming quite the Momma's girl (hopefully this will last, even though the boys grew out of it) when I had her off to someone she cries to be handed back to me. And when I come in from being gone some where she snuggles me. She loves sticking her tongue out. And is getting good at bubble blowing.
And these monthly photo shots are getting more difficult with sticky fingers here.
She is fascinated with anything her brothers have.........that Momma is drinking......loves dancing with Daddy............and is starting to spin circles on the floor to get whatever toy she wants.
My heart is so happy God entrusted us with a baby girl.
